About the Circle
The name, Dorcas, is found in Acts 9:31-41. Dorcas was a woman who filled her days with acts of kindness and charity. At her death, many came to show the shirts and coats that she had made for them. Thus, the Dorcas Circle, whose membership consists of all women of the Williamson Road Church of the Brethren, fill their days with acts of kindness and charity. Nurture, service, and fellowship are the goals of the Dorcas Circle.
